Presentation of films made at the traveling Art-kino workshops / February 27 at 8 pm
Traveling film workshops are a project that Art-kino launched in the fall of 2015. The idea behind these workshops is to convey the practical knowledge needed to make a documentary or feature film for school children and young people, starting with selecting the topic of the film itself, compiling a short synopsis and screenplay, acquiring basic knowledge of means of expression (frame, film plan, perspective). recording and editing of recorded material. The aim is to provide interested students an insight into all the production and post-production stages of filmmaking. The aim of these workshops is to encourage the creative expression of children and young people through their active involvement in the filmmaking process. Furthermore, these workshops also aim to re-launch, in Rijeka's elementary schools, school film clubs. To date, a total of ten workshops have been conducted in which over 130 children and young people from Rijeka's elementary schools participated. 11 short feature films and documentaries have been filmed, and we will have the opportunity to watch films made in the period from 2017 to 2020 at Art-kino.
