Summary
39 fragments of Indian feature film with French and Arabic subtitles have been found at Boulevard Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdallah in Casablanca. Of these, 21 were used to (re) construct a one-minute story consisting of four parts that take place in four locations dictated by the source material: 1 - the carriage, 2 - the pool, 3 - the gas station, 4 - the bar. The thematic areas are: 1 - love, 2 - jealousy, 3 - crime, 4 - business deals. The length of each fragment is as it is found, the sequences are rearranged, their order is changed and they are separated from each other by a single monochromatic frame. Each of the four titles has a specific color and a word assigned to it. The colors are as follows: 1 - orange, 2 - turquoise, 3 - purple, 4 - blue. Words: 1 - film, 2 - speaks, 3 - many, 4 - languages. The words (in white letters) cover the entire screen, with a convenient background color. The pieces are preserved as they were found and are viewed as a movie object - accumulated damage, dirt, soundtrack and perforation are visible. (Gustav Deutsch)
