Program
The end of the month, October 30th, marks the beginning of the Czech Film Week. Out of a total of five recent Czech films coming to the Art-kino, we conclude the month of October with two titles. The program begins with a grand opening, with the premiere of the film The Lady Terrorist (2019). The film follows a retired teacher who has decided to take justice into her own hands but encounters moral problems as well as those of a practical nature. Historical biographical drama Toman (2018) tells a story of a man who saved thousands of Jews from the Holocaust by helping them cross the Czechoslovak border. The series continues in November with the comedy Bear With Us and the thriller Hastrman, while the program is concluded with the successful mini-series Dukla 61.
The Czech Film Week is held in cooperation with the Czech Embassy in the Republic of Croatia.
