Program

From December 1st to December 5th, a total of five top European films nominated for the European Film Award will be screened on the big screen of Art-kino, and the program opens with a new film by the great Spanish director Pedro Almodovar, the long-awaited Dolor y Gloria with Antonio Banderas in the lead role. The European Film Awards in Art-kino also premieres a new film by the controversial Oscar-winning director Roman Polanski, a historical drama J'accus focusing on the Dreyfus Affair, awarded by the Silver Lion at the last Venice Film Festival. Among the selected films of the European Film Academy are Marco Bellocchi's Il traditore, a film about the life of one of the most famous mafia penitents, Tommaso Buscetta;  an Oscar nominated German film Systemsprenger, a drama about an angry girl whose social system cannot find a foster mother, which won the Silver Bear at Berlinale;  and Dylda, a drama inspired by the stories of Soviet women of World War II, published in the controversial book The Unwomanly Face of War by Svetlana Aleksievich.
