Summary
Ashleigh (Elle Fanning) just got an assignment for her student newspaper to conduct an interview with the world-renowned filmmaker Rolland Pollard (Liev Schreiber), who also offers her a behind-the-scenes look at his new movie production. Ashleigh is therefore canceling a pre-arranged romantic lunch with Gatsby (Timothée Chalamet) to find out more about Pollard's film from his screenwriter Ted (Jude Law). Ted is the perfect gentleman, though the movie's lead actor, Francisco Vega (Diego Luna) certainly isn't. However, when Ashleigh and Vega end up in the news, it quickly becomes apparent to everyone how thin the line between real and fake events is and how quickly things get out of hand.
